Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 175°C. Prepare a square baking pan for the crumble - grease it or line with parchment paper.
- Mix all of the Crumble Ingredients together in a medium sized bowl. Mix until the ingredients are combined.
- Take 1 ⅔ C of the crumble and use that as the base. Pour into the baking pan and press down firmly so the base is smooth and evenly spread out.
- Scoop the cherry compote over the base.
- Sprinkle the remainder of the crumble mixture (approx 1 C) over the cherry compote.
- Sprinkle the slivered almonds over the crumble for a decoration.
- Bake the crumble for about 30 minutes or until the fruit is bubbling and the crumble has a golden coloured top.

Notes
*Use coconut sugar if you follow a refined sugar free diet.
**You can use almond butter to make the crumble healthier, but the crumble layer will be a bit more dense. Make sure it's not dry almond butter at the bottom of the jar because then the crumble can turn out to be a bit too dry. Adjust with oil/butter or water if needed.
