agave syrup** optional, I didn't find it necessary
Toppings
1banana
raspberries
blueberries
roasted nuts for protein or nut butter
Instructions
Boil water. Mix approx 2 tbsp hot water with the matcha and whisk until there are no matcha lumps left.
Add the matcha mixture and all the other ingredients to a microwave safe bowl and mix until everything is properly combined.***
Microwave the oatmeal for about 2-2.5 minutes depending on your microwave.
Top with coconut flakes, raspberries, banana and blueberries and if you wish more oat milk. Add nut butter or roasted nuts for added protein.
Enjoy! :)
Notes
*Oat milk makes it creamier than if you use water, but to save calories you can use water instead, or half and half!**I didn't use agave in my oatmeal as the fruit makes the oatmeal sweeter, but if you find your matcha to be a bit too bitter you can always use a tad agave to balance out the bitterness! ***You can also cook this oatmeal on the stove but that takes a bit more time and I don't usually have the patience for that in the morning if I'm honest haha. I am definitely not a morning person so I usually cook my oatmeal in the microwave. :)
