Raw Vegan Cinnamon Bun Bites ✨ Okay these babies taste just like the filling in cinnamon buns except they are raw, vegan, and good for you!! Not to mention they only take a fraction of the time it takes to bake cinnamon buns! Is this a dream come true?? I don’t know you tell me! So here comes the recipe for my delicious cinnamon bun bites 🤤
Raw Vegan Cinnamon Bun Bites
These taste just like the filling in cinnamon buns but these are healthy and made in no time!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup raw walnuts
- ¼ cup raw cashews
- ½ cup oats
- 12 fresh dates *
- 1 tsp fresh ceylon cinnamon
- ½ tsp cardamom
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch sea salt
- 1-2 tbsp coconut oil **
- coconut butter or shredded coconut for coating the bites
Instructions
- Toss everything in a food processor and mix until super smooth.
- Roll the dough into approximately 12 bites, and drizzle with coconut butter or roll in shredded coconut. If the bites are a bit too soft, put in the fridge to set. Enjoy!
Notes
* It’s important the dates are fresh and moist, if they’re not you can soak them for 10-15 minutes before you make this recipe 🙂
**Start with one tbsp coconut oil and add a second tablespoon if the dough is too dry and not combining properly.
