I’ve included a lot of frozen ingredients in this recipe, but the ingredients don’t have to be frozen. It just depends on how thick you want your smoothie! If you like thick smoothies then your ingredients should be frozen. But if you’d like an easily drinkable smoothie, fresh ingredients with simply ice water or ice cubes will be perfect to ensure your smoothie still has a nice cool temperature. Healthy Minty Lime Vegan Green Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • approx 1 tbsp fresh ginger
  • approx 1 ½ tbsp fresh lime juice
  • fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup frozen apple
  • 1 ripe frozen banana
  • 1 cup spinach 
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple 
  • ice water Add just enough ice water to get your mixer going 

Method
 

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Pour the smoothie in a glass and enjoy immediately. 🙂
